YOU WILL COME TO THE WORLD

Do you know, my little one…!?

You will come to the world in a day or two,

Your mother and father have been waiting for you for a long time.

In order to meet you, your grandfather;

will be in Istanbul on Friday, June 14, 2013 in the morning.

My ticket is also attached… come on, look at it if you want..!

I live in Nevşehir… My job is here…!

I have always waited for this day, I have thought of you every day,

I have dreamed,

The dream of walking hand in hand in the parks with you…

My little one,

I will make you play on all the toys in the park,

I will swing you on the swing, I will slide you on the skateboard,

Then you will do somersaults on the grass,

The park ranger will scream;

Don’t step on the grass..! will say…

I will intervene;

I will say, leave my grandson alone…!

Then I will take you in my arms, then on my back...

We will return home talking... To your mother...

Your father will come home from work in the evening...

He will jump on your lap, hug you by the throat

And you will tell him;

What we did with my grandfather, do you know?! you will say to  daddy...

We will look at the photos together...

Another day,

We will get on the Kadıköy ferry with you...

Üsküdar, Beşiktaş, Çengelköy, Yeniköy,

Anadoluhisarı piers and then Sarıyer...!

We will wander and wander...

We will throw simit to the seagulls, they will run after us,

They will squeal,

Our backs are turned to them, you on my lap,

We will have a passenger take our photo...

We will return home talking... To your mother...

Your father will come home from work in the evening,

He will jump on your lap, hug you by the throat

And you will tell him;

You will say, what have we done with my grandfather, do you know my dear father... Afterwards

We will look at the photos together...

Other beautiful days will follow one another,

You will always be in my head and in my heart...

Sometimes with you, sometimes without you... always in my heart...

I love you so much my child,

I will miss you so much...
